About Saadia
I have enjoyed teaching from my school days, had a natural flair for it from when friends would seek help with work. Instead of spending that time studying myself, I found it stimulating to use my knowledge to benefit others. This graduated into helping people at university and then my entry into teaching after gaining practical experience was a logical career choice. At university I mainly lectured quantitative subjects including maths, statistics and accounting, an experience I found challenging and rewarding. From a young age I have had the ability to converse with people of different types and ages, to listen to and exchange ideas with them. While my high scores demonstrate my competency in English, years of lecturing university students have imparted strong communication skills. Presentation of my research work at seminars and conferences has strengthened these capabilities and experience of doing live shows on air has further boosted my confidence. Working on my laptop is my favourite pastime and I am not only proficient in Microsoft Office, but also have used software packages for statistical analysis. For me, my computer is not only a means of work, but also a medium for entertainment including music, surfing and social networking. I also love theatre, concerts, movies, photography and sight-seeing. I am a people’s person, someone who is friendly, helpful, dependable, understanding and loves socialising, as is reflected in the many long-term friendships I maintain with people all over the world. People trust and confide in me about their life and problems, seeking support and advice. Enriched with life’s experiences, while responsible and mature, I still see the lighter side of life. A lively, talkative, energetic and fun-loving personality, I am able to win over young minds quickly so as to effectively guide them in their academic, personal and social life. I am not only a native Urdu speaker, but have also lived in various continents and travelled widely, giving me the opportunity to experience diverse cultures and interact with people from varied backgrounds. My ethnic origin, linguistic skills and sensitivity to different attitudes and behaviours help promote a better understanding of such a multicultural society. Liberal, tolerant and flexible, I readily adapt to people and changing circumstances. I wish to use my capabilities to motivate young minds to maximise their potential. My aim is not to merely be a facilitator of learning, but to be a mentor who inspires and develops all-round personalities. My compassionate nature and passion for teaching along with a strong quantitative background, communication skills and expertise in computing make me a worthy candidate. The opportunity to build society through the lives of the future generation is a source of great satisfaction to me. I rate my tutor a 5 out of 5 she taught me very well and she helped me to get higher grades in my maths lessons which shows due to her help I have achieved the best I could. She is an excellent tutor and totally recommend her to anyone struggling with maths!!
She was a very kind and hardworking teacher who not only taught well but was very prompt in giving feedback on home assignments. Through regular practice, she was able to help me clarify my accounting concepts.
Excellent teacher, with complete grasp on the subject and immense ability to relate with student(s). Loved her sessions and enjoyed the course.
I had the honor and pleasure to be one of the students of Ms. Saadia Kazi. She has the knowledge, depth, empathy and the endless energy that keeps her pupils glued to the subject.
Saadia Kazi is an amazing teacher. When I was her student, she not only made the subject interesting, but also went out of her way to give me tips and suggestions to advance in my studies.
