About Fiona
My name is Fiona, I'm 18, and I'm a gap-year student and wanted to focus my time on helping GCSE students achieve to the best of their abilities. The subjects I offer assistance in to struggling students are the areas of academic study that I'm most interested in and passionate about, and I hope to inspire and pass on that excitement to others. I received a Grade 9 in GCSE History and an A in A-level History; a Grade 9 in GCSE French and an A in A-level French; and a Grade 8 in both GCSE English Literature and English Language.

Lessons will typically range from thirty minutes to an hour but this is flexible and based on preference. The lessons are for GCSE-level students looking to practise their exam technique as well as cover key concepts in chosen areas of content they may struggle to understand (within English Language, English Literature, History, and French). This is my first time on an online tutoring platform, but I've spent years tutoring my younger siblings in their studies as well as assisting fellow students with their revision in these subject areas. My teaching methodology is enquiry-based, where I take a student-centred approach and focus on students explaining their answers as well as working with them to create methods of recall suited to the individual.
