About Edward
I am an Upper 6th-form student at Oundle School. I achieved a 9 in Latin at GCSE and am predicted an A* at A-level. I have been fortunate enough to have been taught Latin to a high standard for a number of years now, so have a strong grasp of (particularly) Latin Language. I have been informally tutoring friends and family since year 11.

I believe that the key to achieving highly in Latin is to be able to keep a cool head and approach any piece of text logically and with precision. The best way to get to this stage is, having gone through the basic theory, to simply to work through pieces of text with an eye to developing thorough and consistent grammatical analysis skills, and thus my methodology would mostly involving working through pieces of Latin together to develop the requisite skill set.

From personal experience, Ed is very knowledgeable and also a very patient tutor. Recently, he helped me prepare for questions on the Spanish Civil war, which at the time I wasn't so confident about. However, after going through the problems I had with it with Ed, he really helped me understand the topic better, highlighting to me the key aspects of the Civil War. He's very friendly and polite. I know Ed as we are in the same boarding house.
