About Ella
I am a high school student who has a music background in piano, flute, viola, and vocal music. I have been tutoring students in reading and writing for over a year. I love to work with kids and I have the most experience with children aged 7-9.

My teaching methods are figuring out what the student needs help with most, conducting a "placement" test first, and working up from there. I find that working through as many practice problems as possible helps the most with improvement. I try to relate the subject to real-life scenarios to give the student a better understanding of what they are learning. I feel most confident tutoring students in primary grades, but I have adjusted to older and younger aged children too.
