About Puneet

Hi! I’m a Level 2 qualified Badminton coach based in Warwickshire, with over a decade of experience both as a competitive player and dedicated coach. I currently play for the Warwickshire County team and have had the privilege of competing — and winning — various badminton tournaments across the UK, Australia, and India. My playing journey has been both international and rewarding, shaping my deep understanding of the game at different levels and styles. During my time at Coventry University, I proudly served as the Men’s 1st Team Captain, leading the team in BUCS league competitions. I continue to play competitively and currently captain Men’s 1 teams across the Coventry, Rugby, and Birmingham leagues, where I also mentor developing players. As a coach, I work with all levels — from beginners to league-level players — and focus on building strong fundamentals, tactical awareness, and mental confidence on court. I bring the same passion to coaching as I do to playing, and I always aim to create sessions that are fun, challenging, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to compete at a higher level, I’m here to support your journey and help unlock your full potential in badminton.

About the lesson

As a Level 2 qualified badminton coach, my focus is on creating a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where players of all ages and abilities can thrive. Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to learn the basics, or an experienced player aiming to refine your technique and strategy, I tailor each session to suit your individual goals and learning style. Here’s what you can expect from my coaching sessions: • Personalised Training Plans – Every player is unique. I design custom lesson plans based on your current skill level, fitness, and objectives, ensuring steady progress over time. • Strong Focus on Fundamentals – I emphasise correct technique, footwork, grip, and positioning to build a solid foundation that supports long-term development and injury prevention. • Tactical Awareness & Game Play – Beyond drills, I incorporate match scenarios and strategy to help you think smarter on the court and build confidence during competitive play. • Encouraging Feedback & Support – I believe coaching should inspire, not intimidate. I provide constructive feedback in a friendly and motivating way to help you stay engaged and enjoy your journey. • Flexible and Fun Sessions – I offer both one-on-one and group coaching, with the flexibility to adapt to your schedule and pace, making each session enjoyable and effective. My goal is to help every student discover their potential, enjoy the sport, and build skills that last a lifetime. Let’s grow your game together!

My 12 year old started training with Coach Puneet after already having a strong foundation in badminton.Even then, I was amazed at how much he improved under his guidance.

Puneet explains every shot in incredible detail – from technique and grip to footwork and positioning. His coaching is not just about hitting the shuttle but understanding the game at a deeper level. Since learning from him, his shots have become sharper, his movement more efficient, and his overall game strategy has improved.

If you’re serious about badminton, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, Puneet is the coach who can take you to the next level!
