My first priority is what the student is finding challenging by tackling this from the source it allows them to be more confident in themselves. I listen to see what topics they are struggling with and then I create notes on those topics for my students and ask them active questions to make sure they are understanding as I teach. After I make sure they get plenty of practise with exam questions or practise questions to enhance what they have learnt
