About Akshata
As a non-native French speaker, I understand how people learn a new language that they may not have had exposure to previously. I am personally very passionate about languages, having learnt 3 languages simultaneously while growing up and French being my 4th. I understand what would and would not help a non-native speaker to understand the concepts and rules in a new language. Furthermore, having just completed my GCSEs recently, I understand what significantly aids GCSE students, such as important exam techniques and how to approach an exam. I also have experience running a French language and culture club for year 7 and 8 students and this has helped me acquire many skills that I believe would be helpful for me and my tutees as a tutor. I also have experience tutoring Yr 10 and 11 students for GCSE French through a tutoring system at my sixth form set up for lower school. I got a 9 in my French GCSE and I'm currently also studying an A-Level in french and wish to continue it as a degree in university. I hope I can help you! :)

As a private tutor I'll be willing to curate and form my lessons to benefit the needs of my tutees. My approach to tutoring is very tutee-based, meaning instead of focusing too much on just the curriculum and exam, I will also be willing to curate my lessons to what my tutee believes would be beneficial to them and their learning needs. That being said, I'm also aware of what exam techniques a GCSE student must know and what would benefit them significantly in an exam. I believe that having just completed my GCSES, I'll be able to use my knowledge of what helped me and my personal experiences to implement them in my lessons to deliver personal, helpful lessons to my tutee.

She's a dedicated and hard working person, who absolutely loves French.
