About Yahya
Hi! I’m an A-level student currently studying Maths, Further Maths and Economics, and I achieved grade 9s in both Maths and Physics at GCSE. I’ve always enjoyed maths for its problem-solving and competitive edge. It’s a subject that really challenges you to think logically and creatively. I started tutoring by helping my friends and found that I genuinely enjoy it. Tutoring not only helps others improve but also deepens my own understanding. I'm a patient, friendly, and focused tutor. I like to keep lessons on track and always aim to create a positive, productive learning space. Outside of school, I play basketball and do a lot of running. I'm also into Lego, anime, and adventure stories. My goal as a tutor is to help students push themselves towards those top grades and realise what they’re capable of, no matter their starting point.

My lessons are designed to be flexible, both in length and style, depending on what works best for you or your child. Whether it's reviewing tricky homework, preparing for exams, or building confidence with maths basics, I’ll tailor the session to meet individual needs. While I don’t have formal teaching qualifications yet, I’ve helped several of my classmates and younger students improve their understanding and grades. I know what it’s like to feel stuck with a topic, and I aim to explain things clearly and at a comfortable pace.
