About Roxan
I’m Roxan Apinardo, a licensed English teacher with more than six years of classroom experience. I hold a PRC teaching license, TESOL and TEFL certification, and an IELTS band score of 7.5. My lessons are learner‑centered, creative, and inclusive, designed to help students of all ages feel confident using English in real situations. I’ve managed large classes, coached award‑winning campus journalism teams, and trained in Early Childhood Care and Development, which gives me both structure and flexibility in my teaching. I use a learner‑centered approach that blends communicative language teaching with inquiry‑based activities. Typical Lesson Plan
A standard session begins with a short warm‑up activity to activate prior knowledge, followed by a focused input stage (introducing vocabulary, grammar, or a reading text). Learners then practice through guided exercises and communicative tasks such as role‑plays or group discussions. I close with reflection and feedback, ensuring students can apply what they learned beyond the classroom.

My strength lies in adaptability — I have taught large classes of 35–45 students, yet I can also tailor lessons for one‑on‑one tutoring. With a PRC teaching license, TEFL certification, IELTS 7.5 proficiency, and TESDA training in Early Childhood Care and Development, I bring both academic rigor and creativity.
