About Joana
Hello!
My name is Joana Cordeiro Ferreira, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Coimbra, currently living nearby Lisbon.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Photography, a Photography Direction Workshop, a Travel Photography Workshop held in Iceland, a training in Event Management and Sustainability, an Integrative Aromatherapy course, FCE Certificate in English and the Level 1 of German.
Since I was young I haven't let go of this desire to see the world through a special lens, mine.
I covered subjects from analogue photography and development, photojournalism, portrait, architecture, fashion, visual culture, history of photography, contemporary photography, advertising, among others...
Of all areas, the ones that give me the most pleasure are: photojournalism, photo-reporting, street photography, sports, fashion and people.
I like to work spontaneously and creatively, submitting myself to the movement of my surroundings in order to capture the best microsecond. I call it visual tasting.

Welcome!
My name is Joana Cordeiro Ferreira and I'm here to help you explore the world of Photography and Post-Production.
Initially, I always try to get to know the student in question, each one of you will ask specific questions and, for this reason, it is important to approach the person in question. I teach techniques and basic notions of Photography, I propose creative exercises and suggestions for experiences that help to develop the photographic eye.
As in any activity, practice is essential!
I work with Photography, Video, Editing, Post Production, and Studio Equipment.
I will always adjust to the interests and curiosities of the students. During my course I may have felt a (forced) need to adapt to the teacher and what he wanted me to do, not being me anymore. So, I hope to do it differently and help the student's eye, so that mine can see something different too.
