About Melisa
I am a student of Laotian origin, having studied French all my schooling. Arrived in France a year ago, I study linguistics in 3rd year in Paris 7. Parallel I teach Lao (Lao) at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations for 1 year.

My course is structured and adapts with the level of the student. It is based on official school textbooks from Laos and other documents I have developed. I try as much as I can to develop 4 pillar skills that are: listening, oral production, reading and writing. If you have your own book we can also work with it. I give importance to good pronunciation which is very important in Laotian, especially at the tonal level. I also teach writing, step by step, which is simple enough to master.

Perfect! Melissa used a lot of different materials to teach things that you need to study Lao. She has a website that she manages that has audio for the Lao alphabet. She also sent me mp3 files of basic Lao and went over a song lyric sheet that she had prepared for non-Lao speakers. Great work! It was a pleasure to learn from her.
