About Elise
With 9 years of experience as an ESL tutor, I have supported high school and college students in building strong English communication skills. Teaching English allows me to connect with students and guide them towards academic success. I have worked with approximately 150–200 students, many of whom improved their fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and practical usage. I use everyday examples, interactive practice, and continuous feedback to help students learn effectively. One of the key milestones in my career has been seeing students perform confidently in exams, presentations, and interviews.
I aim to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising English. My mission is to help students gain confidence and use English effectively in their studies and future careers.

My ESL teaching methodology is flexible, practical, and student-friendly. I focus on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to help students learn English effectively and confidently.
Motivation is key in my classes. I encourage students through positive feedback, achievable goals, and tracking progress. Communication is practised regularly through speaking exercises, listening activities, and real-life conversations.
Creativity keeps learning interesting. I use role plays, storytelling, visuals, and interactive exercises to improve understanding and memory. Time management ensures each lesson is structured, productive, and balanced.
Besides ESL, I teach spoken English, grammar fundamentals, vocabulary enhancement, pronunciation, professional communication, interview skills, and writing basics. My goal is to help students communicate clearly and naturally.
