About Mpumi
I am an Associate Academic in Logotherapy, an author of two books, a conference speaker, mentor, and counsellor. I am not a teacher by profession, but while I do not have a long and ongoing teaching experience, I have volunteered to teach High School Students specifically in the field of Accounting (a while back), but also most recently conducting motivational talks and mentoring them, both in class and in my home.

I always like to keep the purpose (what we want to achieve) of every lesson in mind, whilst being careful not to suck the fun out of the process by imposing or having a rigid approach to teaching them. So I engage them to get a feel of how best I can help them achieve their goal, either through a presentation where they can ask questions at the end or during the presentation after each subtopic. I like to ask them questions too, in relation to the subject at hand, i.e. their experiences, if any, future aspirations, gifts, etc. We can even use games like role-playing.
