About Ionna
• I have taught students ranging from different levels for over 11 years now. In Germany I helped children to get into Gymnasiums (equivalent to grammar schools) and teenagers (natives as well as non-natives) to upgrade their grades. In France and the UK, I have also taught professionals, helped students to pass their exams and adult learners refresh their German skills . Over the years I had the honour of meeting a lot of different people from diverse backgrounds and all ages and I like to believe that I was able to encourage each individually to develop new skills and to make learning another language enjoyable. Being both open minded and tentative to differences in the way each person learns, I am able to meet people with different needs and offer personal thoughtful lessons.

I am a multi-lingual graduate, fluent in English, German (native) and Finnish (native). I hold a BSc (hons) in International Politics and an MA in History. I am friendly and outgoing with an international outlook, having studied in Berlin, Paris, Helsinki and London. Languages are my passion and I love to help others to overcome fears and build their confidence through languages. Language is simply a tool to communicate with people from different parts of the world. Delivering grammar (that finally makes sense), reading and listening comprehension as well as writing and talking exercises in a relaxed atmosphere, I can help you to become a sufficient effortless German speaker, so that you get to fully grasp the language and to relish in the joy of being able to communicate in a foreign language.
