About Jennifer
With an extensive background in special education, there are several strengths I bring as a tutor for children with special needs: 1. Deep Understanding of Diverse Disabilities: My experience with students that have cognitive impairments, autism, and other disabilities means I can adapt my approach based on each child’s unique needs. I can identify strategies that work best for different learners, which makes me a versatile and highly effective tutor. 2. These methods can help make abstract concepts more accessible for students with diverse needs. 7. Additional focus area Functional Life Skills: My understanding of functional skills, whether for communication, self-care, or vocational training, allows me to support students in gaining independence and confidence while building skills.
