About George
I was first introduced to tennis by my friend Rebecca when we were both very young. We would use every opportunity to adapt an activity to incorporate tennis, such as combining it with being on a trampoline and playing in a pool. I would spend hours hitting balls against my garden wall, and finally succeeded in taking it over as a tennis wall rather than a wall to support the runner beans! My interest in coaching grew when I was given the opportunity to assist the coaching team at Leatherhead Tennis Club when I was 16. Following on from this, I completed an Extended Diploma in Sports Development and Coaching, before embarking on the LTA qualification path. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills in order to help my clients achieve their goals. I am keen to promote the health and well-being benefits of getting outdoors, improving fitness and enjoying sport. Tennis doesn’t have to be the formal sport that you may have come to think of it as!

The sessions I provide acknowledge this, ensuring a valuable and fun experience. I am passionate about helping my clients to develop their fitness and build tennis skills on this foundation. I can help you with your technique, tactics, footwork, endurance, conditioning, stretching, all of which feed into the game and are also valuable in other aspects of your life.
