About Casey
My name is Casey Laforet and I have been a touring songwriter and musician for over 25 years with the Juno-winning Canadian band Elliott BROOD. I have written and released multiple albums, scored two feature films, and our music can be found in multiple television shows and video games.
I don't offer traditional music theory. I myself do not read music. I offer music production and "song building" using powerful software that simply require a curiosity and eagerness to create music.

I offer beginner to intermediate classes in music production. I will introduce you to recording softwares such as Garage Band, Logic and Ableton Live. No prior music theory knowledge is required to learn how to produce and record your own original music! These lessons are for kids and curious adults of all ages.
