About Yangmin
I'm Yangmin Xiao, a dedicated and Mandarin teacher from Shanghai. With over 10 years of experience teaching Chinese to students of all ages and backgrounds, I have honed my skills in creating engaging and effective lessons. I have taught at the University of Rostock, as well as at the Community College of Rostock in Germany. Currently, I teach at the Edinburgh Chinese Education Centre at weekends. I am proud to have been named the UK Chinese Teacher of the Year 2022 and to have served as a jury member for various prestigious Mandarin competitions. My diverse background and passion for teaching ensure a rich and comprehensive learning experience for my students, whether online or in person.
