A doctor who has been awarded a PhD conducting Dementia research. I have now been tutoring for 9 years and have built up a wealth of previous experience tutoring students from KS3 onwards and have achieved high grades in all the subjects that I am offering to teach.
I have a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and a master's (Distinction) in Clinical Neuroscience from UCL in addition to working as a research scientist at King's College London. During my PhD part of my responsibility was to train and teach master's and undergraduate students within the lab and to help prepare them for exams.
I am a very patient tutor and will be able to tailor lessons according to each student's needs and abilities. I can guarantee improved results in Science (Biology and Chemistry) and Economics for examinations ranging from KS3 to A levels. I will aid students on how best to prepare for exams, exam techniques, proof-read and provide dissertation/essay help and can simplify complicated concepts into understandable information. Following this I will encourage students to tackle problems they find difficult in order to build up their confidence and assess what areas of strength or weakness require development.
In short, I am a very reliable, flexible and motivating tutor who takes real pride in making a difference to the lives of aspiring students and to help them achieve their full potential. I am organised, hard-working and really passionate about teaching – especially science!
