About Max
As a professional guitarist with a diploma in instrumental performance and pedagogy, I offer a unique combination of real-world stage experience and structured teaching expertise. With over 15 years of playing, performing, and teaching, I've had the privilege of sharing the stage at major events like the Dubai Jazz Festival and as part of the Abu Dhabi NSO big band. This deep, practical experience informs my lessons, ensuring you don't just learn notes, but also the artistry and confidence needed to perform. My passion is to guide students—from total beginners to aspiring professionals—to reach their full potential on the instrument.

My teaching approach is personalized to each student's goals and learning style. I combine structured theory with practical application, using a mix of exercises, improvisation, and learning songs to build both technical skills and musicality. I have a diploma in pedagogy, which informs my teaching methodology and allows me to create a clear, effective learning path for every student.
Typical lessons are 45 minutes long, but I can adjust them to fit a student's needs and focus. My lessons are for all levels—from beginners just picking up the guitar to advanced players aiming to master specific genres like blues, rock, pop, or jazz.
