About Diora
I am a dedicated Chess tutor with 4 years of experience teaching students of all ages, including school children, college students, and working professionals. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 200 students, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
My teaching philosophy is centered on motivation, communication, empathy, problem-solving, and accountability. I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, patience, and practice. I focus on building a strong foundation in Chess strategy, tactics, opening principles, middle-game planning, and endgame techniques. I also incorporate lessons from other strategy games such as Backgammon, Checkers, Risk, and Settlers of Catan to strengthen critical thinking, planning, and decision-making skills.
