About Aleksandra
I was once a girl who moved to London at 17 years old without money, family or job, I left my country to realise my dream and study fashion design. As time went on, I met people that changed my life and shaped my artistic vision. Years of making mistakes, making my first stitches on a machine turned into fashion shows in Milan and London, finding my place in fashion and within myself as a creator. And now, it is time to share this experience with other people and help them reach their own dream!

I am offering creative sessions to fashion students, those who want to apply for a fashion course as well as for young or established designers. Having obtained a Master Degree with distinction in Central Saint Martins in London, I have gained 10 years of experience in the fashion industry in the position of a fashion designer. My professional experience includes working in both ready-to-wear and haute couture. The companies I worked for include Jacquemus, Loewe, Viktor & Rolf, Balmain, Erdem and Mary Katrantzou. With such diverse range of brands, I was able to gain knowledge in every step of the process and witness different approaches to craft. From embroidery, knitting, pattern cutting, drawing, draping, textile sampling to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, machine and hand stitching. I believe my deep experience and strong knowledge can help to answer your questions and spread light in places that may seem unknown or challenging! During the meeting I offer to discuss: - Portfolio applications and presentation for universities, colleges, job applications etc. - Step by step collection creation plan from inspiration, research, development to production. - Distinguish strengths and recognise fields that seem challenging - How to build a moodboard - Textile and embroidery techniques - How to build a personal style and any other question related to fashion that interests you!
