Bonjour! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies. I specialize in helping high school and university students who struggle with grammar and essay writing. My approach is creative, practical, and student-friendly. I believe that with the right guidance, French grammar doesn't have to feel overwhelming. I break down complex rules into simple, easy-to-understand steps that make learning smoother. I focus on building strong foundations so students can write with clarity, structure, and expression. Whether it’s tackling tricky verb tenses or organizing ideas for an essay, I guide students every step of the way. My sessions are interactive and adapted to each learner’s needs. I use everyday topics like greetings, shopping, travel, and food to build confidence from the start. I break lessons into small, manageable parts, making learning easier and less stressful. With beginner dialogues, students learn how to hold simple conversations quickly and naturally. I include pronunciation drills in every session to help learners sound more fluent and understand native speakers better. I also teach the differences in regional accents and vocabulary, especially between France, Canada, and parts of Africa. Vocabulary is taught through memory tricks, repetition, and role-plays to improve long-term retention. Grammar is introduced step-by-step, always within useful contexts. I support students who are reconnecting with their roots or preparing for travel by focusing on cultural understanding and practical expressions. Whether it's navigating a French café or speaking with relatives abroad, I help learners feel ready and confident. I use songs, videos, and real-world materials to keep lessons engaging. My sessions are student-centered, meaning I adapt to each learner’s pace and goals. Regular speaking practice is key, so I make sure everyone gets plenty of time to talk. My goal is to help each student enjoy learning French while making real progress.
