About Gustavo
Nice to meet you, I'm Gustavo!
I'm a marine scientist with a Master's in Marine Ecology (Unifesp). I had the opportunity to take part of my undergraduate degree in Scotland, where I had an immersion in environmental analysis using R and biostatistics and the passion continued even more during my Master's. I was lucky to have professors who were concerned with presenting the potential of statistics always in practical contexts of daily life or the reality of the researcher, and this is where I get inspiration for my teaching methodology.
I hope I'm able to contribute to your learning process and know that I will do the best I can to help you in the best way possible. You can count on me!

I teach from beginners to intermediate users, who are still "afraid" of R or statistics, but need hypothesis testing or explore data for an academic subject or research in Marine Ecology and Biostatistics. My job is to listen to your needs and difficulties and together we create a personalised solution. I also respect gender identities and representative minorities, being a safe space for them.
Available for:
- R and biostatistics classes (in the form of punctual consultation or continuous classes)
- academic tutoring (TCC, Master's exam) in the field of Marine Ecology and Conservation
- review of academic papers.

Pedi a orientação do Gustavo para a prova de proficiência em língua inglesa do mestrado, faltando menos de uma semana para a prova. Super solícito, me apresentou conteúdos que me ajudassem a identificar os pontos mais importantes de cada questão, trouxe alguns modelos de avaliação e me tranquilizou sobre a prova.
