About Kimberly
Kimberly S. Moorehead, M.Ed., PCET
Bright Minds Educational Therapy is owned and operated by Kimberly (Kim) S. Moorehead, PCET. Kim holds a Masters of Education in Exceptional Student Education with a concentration in Educational Therapy from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. She is a Professional Certified Educational Therapist (PCET) through NILD, the National Institute of Learning Development. In addition, she holds a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. She is a former elementary teacher and children's counselor. She currently holds the position of Reading Specialist at a local Christian school.
Kim has a wonderful husband, three awesome boys, two bonus daughters, and enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, reading, traveling, and spending time with extended family and friends.

I am trained in Orton-Gillingham's method of reading. I have 8 years of experience teaching kids to read. I work online, however, use a multisensory approach. I offer 6 "levels" of reading intervention, 8-weeks per level, twice a week, 45- minutes a session. My prices are very reasonable.
