I've been going to Andrew for lessons for a few months now and I can honestly say that it has done wonders for my playing. He's been able to teach me things that I would never have thought to learn on my own. He's an effective communicator and very patient and passionate about guitar. 5 stars would definitely recommend to anyone!

I had a great experience learning to play guitar with Andrew. Prior to our first lesson I had been taking lessons with another teacher who heavily emphasized practicing chords and learning scales. It killed my enthusiasm. Andrew filled in for my first teacher while he was on vacation and I stuck with him. He asked me what music I liked and then began to teach me those songs right away. He also heard really interesting aspects of the music that other teachers didn’t which made it more fun and exciting to play. He made the guitar accessible right away to a complete novice.

Andrew is knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with, and I’ve seen real improvement since starting. He adjusts the lessons to what you actually need instead of following a one-size-fits-all approach. Would absolutely recommend.
