About Evan
With 5 years of experience in both in-person and online teaching, I work with students from beginner to professional levels. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a concentration in Pedagogy, which has equipped me to teach with both depth and clarity. My approach centers on three essentials: strong sight-reading, thoughtful score analysis, and expressive musical interpretation. Every student learns differently, so I carefully adapt lessons to match individual needs and musical goals. I include music theory, historical background, and finger exercises to help students understand and embody the music. For advanced students, I emphasize stylistic nuance and period-informed practices. My studio is a space for growth, exploration, and confidence-building.
