About Alicia
I am a Violin tutor with more than 19 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 1320 students. My passion is helping learners become accomplished musicians while developing confidence, discipline, creativity, and artistic excellence.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners, advanced performers, orchestra musicians, examination candidates, competition participants, and students preparing for professional music pathways. This experience allows me to provide highly personalized instruction.
Many students have achieved success in recitals, competitions, orchestral performances, examinations, scholarship auditions, and advanced music studies through my guidance.
My goal is to help every learner become a confident violinist capable of performing with technical excellence and artistic expression.

My Violin lessons are designed to help students develop exceptional technical ability, artistic confidence, and performance excellence through a structured and progressive learning system. Lessons cover posture, bow control, finger placement, intonation, rhythm development, tone production, sight reading, ear training, orchestral preparation, and recital performance.
Students begin by mastering strong technical foundations through bowing exercises, tone development activities, rhythm training, listening practice, and posture refinement. These skills establish the framework required for advanced violin performance and long-term musical growth.
As learners advance, lessons expand into vibrato mastery, shifting techniques, advanced bow strokes, expressive phrasing, orchestral repertoire, competition preparation, recital coaching, and musical interpretation. Students learn how to transform technical precision into expressive artistic performances.
Individual practice strategies, detailed progress evaluations, and performance coaching ensure continuous improvement and confidence building.
