About Darcie
I have over 7 years of experience teaching Chess to students from school to college. My passion for education drives me to make learning both exciting and meaningful. I believe Chess is more than a game — it teaches critical thinking, patience, and strategy that help students in life and studies. Over the years, I have guided many students to improve their skills, achieve success in competitions, and develop a deeper love for the game. Watching students grow in confidence and understanding gives me great joy. My approach focuses on clear explanations, interactive learning, and encouraging creativity. Every lesson is designed to challenge students while keeping the process fun. My goal is not only to teach Chess but also to inspire young minds to think deeply and play passionately.

My teaching methodology for Chess is built around Accountability, Creativity, and Communication to ensure effective learning. I encourage students to take ownership of their progress, setting clear goals and reviewing them regularly. Creativity plays a key role in helping students think strategically, explore new ideas, and adapt to different game situations. Communication is essential, so I make sure every concept is explained clearly and encourage open discussion to deepen understanding.
Lessons go beyond just learning moves. I focus on critical thinking, pattern recognition, and decision-making skills that apply to real games and life situations. I use practical examples, puzzles, and game analysis to make learning engaging and interactive. Besides Chess, I can teach related strategy games and subjects that enhance problem-solving skills. My aim is to help students build confidence, improve their game, and enjoy learning Chess in a creative and supportive way.
