Mrs Denel is my Emergency Medicine lecturer from Wits and I got the pleasure of witnessing her in action at the ME department she worked at. She is such an enthusiastic lecturer who by all means puts in all her effort to make sure that you understand what is being taught. She's is very easy to understand, makes things so simple. Always willing to go an extra mile and never complains about it. Her dedication to her job is unquestionable.

Denel is such an amazing lecture and person, she is really passionate about her job and what's she's doing and that's something you can't ask about but you can see it with how dedicated she is with her work and the effort she puts in. She always tries to make the content easy and simple to go through and makes sure you understand. She is the best at what she does and I am lucky to have witnessed that and have her as a lecturer, she made things easier and more bearable. Plus she is an easy going person, she gives you no reason to be afraid of her just incase you need help and clarity. You can never go wrong with her.

She explains a topics very well. She makes sure that we understand if one person in the lecture doesn't get something, she'll make sure that the student gets it and will even finish the lecture on time. She gives good examples from her experience. She is very energetic and bubbly. I am recommending her because I believe she is what my class needed for us to know Emergency Medicine.

Mrs Denel was my Emergency Medicine lecturer at Wits... literally the best. It is so easy to see her passion for emergency medicine through the way she teaches and that also had an effect on me as I also want to follow the same career path. She makes her content easier to understand, goes the extra mile for her students and all her lessons are enjoyable. I wish I could go back in time and attend her classes once more.

She's an excellent tutor and carries everyone with her ensuring you understand what she's teaching as well as interacting with everyone to ensure that the class is interactive. She's patient and attentive and does not mind going back to repeat what she said if you don't understand. She's really amazing!

Literally the best lecturer on the planet! Her passion for emergency medicine makes you want to study and learn more! It's really awesome to have a lecturer that wants us to ask questions and doesn't mind explaining a million times, complicated topics are easy to understand!

Denel has gained her extensive medical knowledge by working within medical facilities around South Africa, and has helped assist patients from both affluent and disadvantaged backgrounds. She has the unique ability to explain a complicated medical procedure or medical term to a 5 year old, whilst still maintaining the interest of the user she is talking to. She is polite, friendly, non-judgemental and seem to comfort those who experience anxiety and shyness.
