My approach as a tutor is the same as my approach as a teacher.
I teach a lesson based on the needs of the student or group. I am a strong believer in differentiated instruction. My lessons are adapted based on how students respond to the lesson. A typical lesson is either designed with improvement in word-level reading or comprehension in mind. For the most part, these lessons are designed for students in the primary or secondary level. What makes me unique is that I am specifically trained to teach students who struggle to read.
