Music is my life. I love to make music and I love to figure out how it works. I have studied music and music theory extensively and I actively research in the field. I specialize in 19th Century Lieder. I care about creating a firm foundation within musicians so that we can communicate clearly and accurately while continuing to make music.

Music theory lessons with me will be custom to your needs and goals. If you just need to refresh or if you’re starting from scratch. We will cover a range of subjects from harmonic analysis to post-tonal (if you’re into that). We will do aural skills to strengthen your ear.
