About Brenna
I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and am currently in a Masters of Spanish program where I study linguistics, literature and teaching methodology.
I have experience teaching Spanish and English as a second language to elementary school students. I also currently teach Elementary Spanish I at the university level.

I tutor through goal setting and personalized instruction.
Together, we will set three specific and achievable goals and come up with a plan and timeline to reach them.
I create lessons that focus on immersion and the real-life usage of language to promote communication and engaging with culture as opposed to the traditional grammar-based method. My students leave our sessions knowing more than how to conjugate a verb - they are able to have short, simple conversations with other learners and native speakers.
