About Cresny
I’m a dedicated and approachable educator with a strong academic background in Social Justice Education and Sociology from the University of Toronto. My experiences as a classroom assistant, language tutor, and academic mentor have taught me the importance of patience, clarity, and adaptability in every lesson. I bring over nine years of diverse professional experience, combining organization, empathy, and strong communication skills to create a positive and productive learning environment. As a Master’s student in Social Justice Education at OISE and a recent University of Toronto graduate, I take a personalized, student-centered approach to learning. My lessons are structured around each learner’s unique goals, strengths, and challenges. I begin my sessions by identifying where students feel most confident and where they need extra support, then design clear, achievable steps to help them grow. A typical session includes guided practice, interactive discussion, and reflection — ensuring students not only understand the material but also develop the skills to think critically and independently. I aim to make learning meaningful, empowering, and confidence-building. What sets me apart is my focus on fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of agency in every learner.
