About Lucy
I am a Masters student at the University of Exeter (studying Global Literature) and I have a First Class degree in English Literature and French from Cardiff University.
I have extensive experience working with students and young people within the classroom.
I have taught English in France, and tutored UK students both in-person and remotely.
DBS available upon request.
I am passionate about the English Language and Literature (I am a huge bookworm!) I enjoy helping others reach their goals in a relaxed and comfortable environment; whether it be as technical as passing an exam, improving comprehension skills, or simply getting to grips with a difficult novel or poem.

I am a strong believer in student-guided approach to teaching and tutoring. I am offering personalised one-to-one lessons, centred around a student's needs and interests in order to support classroom learning. I understand that no two individuals are the same and therefore will always seek to adapt my lessons to engage with a student in order to release their full potential. Throughout my lessons I will get to know students' interests, study-styles and needs in order to help them attain their goals.
