About Joanne
Hello! My name is Joanne, and I am a Sheridan College nursing student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I achieved a 94% in Nursing Math and 91% in English, ESL, and Advanced Functions, and I enjoy making learning more understandable and less overwhelming for students.
My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s learning style and goals. I believe every student can improve with clear explanations, encouragement, and consistent practice. During lessons, I break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, provide guided examples, and help students build confidence through active learning and problem-solving.
Whether you need support understanding class material, preparing for tests, improving grades, or building stronger study habits, I am committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
