I can help with multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, word problems, and more

I'm a professional mathematician, but most importantly, I'm an enthusiastic tutor, teacher, and coach, which means that I'd love to show people how much fun math can be! My experience as a teacher began when I was in school; I used to tutor other students and explain complicated mathematical concepts to them.

Years of experience have made me realize that everyone can learn to excel in math by getting proper tutoring, encouragement, and a bit of patience. So, no matter what kind of math skills you need to develop, whether you are looking for an opportunity to pass some tests or just want to become better at math, feel free to contact me!

About the lesson

Every lesson is personalized to the student.
I build each lesson around what you already know, where you're having difficulty, and what you want to accomplish.

Rather than simply giving you answers, I'll explain the reasoning behind each problem and guide you through the process so that you can eventually solve similar problems on your own.

A typical lesson might include:
1. Quick review: We'll go over previous material.
2. Learn: New concept using clear, straightforward examples.
3. Practice together: We'll work through problems step-by-step.
4. Try it yourself: You'll get a chance to solve problems independently while I provide guidance when needed.
5. Wrap-up: We'll review what you've learned and identify what to work on before the next lesson.

Lessons can focus on homework, upcoming tests, specific math topics, foundational skills, or general improvement.

I offer both online and in-person tutoring, depending on your location and preference.

Most importantly, there are no silly questions. If something doesn't make sense, we'll approach it from a different angle until it does.
