About Maria
I used to be a tutor at Portales High School and Clovis High School. The subjects I used to tutor were English, Math, and Science. Our students ranged from 3-5 students per sessions. I used to teach kids part of the ENLACE program which is those students who are in need or are failing in class. Their outcomes are amazing.

My teaching method is first analyzing my students abilities. Where are they at and what do they know about the subject and the topic first before I help them. As a tutor, I don't like to simply give out the answer. I want to make sure they know how to do it, how to get there, and what all comes with getting the right answer. Making sure they know the process is important.
