About Mandy
In my 20 years of teaching, I have taught over 1,500 students. I have taught the following classes: Algebra I, Algebra A/B, Geometry, Geometry A/B, Algebraic Connections, Transition to College Math, College Algebra (concurrent credit with local college), and College Trig (concurrent credit with local college).
It is my belief that students need to experience some success, especially in math, in order to actually put forth their best effort. If they never experience success in math class, they usually feel like they can't do math.

I graduated from high school from Magnolia High School. I have a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in secondary mathematics education. Both of my degrees are from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. I have been teaching for 20 years. Of those 20 years, about 16 of them were spent teaching various math classes.
One of my most important philosophies as a teacher has always been "Never give up!" I believe that everyone can learn, just not at the same pace and to the same depth as everyone else.

Details
I will charge $25/hour for tutoring services. If I have to travel, there will be an additional charge of $0.40/mile that I have to drive from my driveway to the students' driveway. For example, If I drive 25 miles to tutor someone and then I stay for 1 hour when I get there, I will pay the following: 25 miles times 0.40 time two way = $10; 1 hour of tutoring = $25; total cost would be $45.
