About Blake
I am a dedicated Mathematics instructor with a BMath degree and over 15 years of teaching experience guiding students from school to university levels. My focus is on building strong foundations in logical reasoning, proof construction, and core mathematical theory. I believe mathematics is not just about numbers, but about thinking clearly and solving problems with confidence.
My teaching approach uses engaging challenges, paradoxes, and thought-provoking questions to develop deep understanding. I encourage students to explore why concepts work, not just how to apply them. This method helps learners strengthen analytical thinking and gain true mathematical insight.

I am a passionate Maths tutor with over 15 years of experience helping school and university students build confidence and clarity in mathematics. My teaching style is warm, interactive, and built around storytelling, making even complex ideas feel simple and engaging. I especially support students who struggle with math anxiety by creating a calm and encouraging learning space.
I teach a wide range of topics including elementary and middle school math, algebra, calculus, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. I also bring in pattern recognition, mathematical puzzles, and fascinating historical anecdotes to make lessons more meaningful. My sessions often include visual aids, simple games, and real-life examples so students can truly connect with numbers.
I focus strongly on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. This approach helps students think independently and solve problems with confidence. I am particularly skilled at guiding students with analytical goals, including those preparing for quantitative and economics-related paths.
