About Banna
Are you looking for a friendly, patient and a fun math tutor? Well, solving mathematical problems and guiding students get concepts and their grades up is my lifetime commitment. With a six-year experience in tutoring, I've adopted techniques that make studying math more of a happy adventure than a boring lecture. I seek to make the math sessions more interactive.
I started my teaching career through teaching my friends and siblings on getting some hard math concepts right and the joy that came from them understanding a simple concept became my joy. Thus, I draw my fulfillment from such experiences.
I am passionate about helping students improve their critical thinking as well as their problem-solving skills.
As a skilled individual with a wide experience and knowledge in mathematics, I believe that everyone has what it takes to be good in mathematics. I therefore make math sessions intentional by guiding the student to understand the root principles that make up a particular math concept. As a result, the students understands the reasons for taking certain steps in solving math problems through critical analysis of the problem.
Over the six years of my experience, I have tutored several students who have without a doubt shown great improvements on their grades.
I love teaching curious learners and my classes are very interactive. I usually provide opportunity for learners to ask questions and then further delve into more profound examples that core-late with daily practical scenarios.

My approach towards teaching is dependent on what the students' strengths are. If they aren't necessarily gifted in understanding the more abstract nature of math, or they have certain conditions that such as dyscalculia, I will be as patient as needed in order to give them the time and easy different path ways to think and internalize the lesson on their own. No matter what, I will be understanding and patient with all students to help them focus on the math and not so much on the obstacles preventing them from learning.
