About Akira
My name is Akira Solomon, I am a business analyst who has been teaching math for the past 7 years. I’ve always had a passion for math—it’s one of my favorite subjects because of the logic, structure, and problem-solving it involves. What I love most about tutoring math is helping students overcome the fear or frustration they often feel toward the subject. Watching a student go from saying “I can’t do this” to confidently solving problems on their own is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler steps and seeing that moment when it finally clicks for them.

With 7 years of experience in math tutoring, I have taught a wide range of students at different skill levels. I understand how to adapt my tutoring style to meet the students' needs.
