I show students how to pass math exams. With my tutoring you will learn how to solve exercises independently and improve your chances for a good grades in the long run. I individually address the needs of the students in my lessons, because every student is different and comes with different basics. We first discuss the topics and processes. I usually ask in a short preliminary discussion for prior knowledge and study. Then we decide individually how to proceed.
In online lessons, thanks to my graphics tablet, I can show notes and calculations in real time, just like on paper. After class you will receive the notes as a PDF.
In one-to-one lessons I prefer to follow the philosophy that a student has to calculate for him/herself. After discussing the theory you will have the opportunity to test your understanding with my guidance. Only listening is not enough, calculating yourself makes you smart. So I can see if you make mistakes and can intervene. So we can practice specifically and sharpen your understanding. Because the main goal is to enable you to convince yourself that your solution is correctt and that you know how to recognize and correct possible mistakes.
