About Stephen
I've done a few Olympiads, but what's most important to me is that I love when I get people interested in math. I've spent a lot of time tutoring others (since I was 15). Whether it be my friends, family, or classmates. It's great to get discussions of interesting mathematics going.

I like to teach concepts from the ground up, assuming no prior knowledge unless you show that you have some prerequisite knowledge. I use the Feynman technique to help students learn. If they can explain what they know well, then they know it well.
I also like to talk about the reasons for learning a certain branch of math and how it came to be, so you get the proper motivation for learning it. Then we dive into some examples and math problems.
Furthermore, I link concepts in math to the real world for the intuition. I also emphasize creativity and problem-solving using tools like Desmos & GeoGebra. I want to get students inspired and curious about the world of mathematics.
These lessons will be for students in high school to university.
