About Arlo
I have 11 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Mathematical Analysis. My interest in mathematics grew from a love of logical reasoning and discovering patterns hidden within complex problems. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that passion every day.
My teaching philosophy combines structure, flexibility, and encouragement. I enjoy helping students overcome difficulties by presenting concepts in clear and accessible ways. Every lesson is designed to support understanding and confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical research and applications in science and technology. These interests help me bring practical relevance into lessons. Helping students succeed in mathematics continues to inspire me throughout my career.

My maths lessons are designed to help students build strong reasoning skills while improving their understanding of mathematical concepts. We cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and statistics through structured explanations and guided practice. I emphasize understanding the logic behind solutions rather than memorizing procedures.
Lessons are adjusted to suit each learner's abilities and academic objectives. Beginners focus on strengthening core numerical skills, while advanced learners develop deeper analytical thinking and problem-solving strategies. Regular exercises and feedback help students track progress and improve performance.
I believe mathematics becomes more rewarding when students gain confidence in their ability to solve problems independently. My lessons encourage persistence, accuracy, and curiosity. The goal is to help learners build long-term mathematical skills that support academic and personal growth.
