About Hannah
Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a university student studying Mathematics, and I love to help students understand subjects that initially seem difficult, but can be super easy. I know that math, physics, and coding can be frustrating when something just isn’t clicking, so I try to make learning feel much less intimidating and a lot more approachable. I have extensive experience teaching and working with children, including tutoring, camps, coaching, and teaching, and I love getting to know the students I work with. Whether you need a little extra help, want to feel more confident before a test, or just want someone to make a difficult subject feel easier, I’d love to help!

I believe students learn best when they understand the “why” behind a problem rather than just memorizing a formula or procedure. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level, learning style, and goals, breaking difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and giving students plenty of opportunities to practice independently. Lessons typically begin by identifying areas that need improvement, followed by explanation, guided examples, practice problems, and a review of anything the student is still unsure about. As a mathematics student myself, I have a recent and relatable understanding of the challenges students face in these subjects. I tutor elementary and high school students in mathematics, coding, and physics, including students who need extra support, want to strengthen their fundamentals, or are looking to challenge themselves.

Hannah is the best! I was struggling so much with grade 10 math, but she explains the concepts better than my teacher, and now I actually understand what is happening in class.
I highly recommend Hannah as a math tutor, especially for middle school students. My 12-year-old son has improved significantly in math since working with her.
