Mathematics is thinking not computation. I teach mathematical thinking - the computation will come naturally.

Bill (William) is a deeply thoughful person with a deep seated love of learning. I remember shortly after meeting him he was bored one weekend. He looked for a project to work on and at the time he was an instructor (photography) and had an interest also in astronomy. So... he decided to spend the weekend learning how to build and building a sidereal telescope mount so he could hook up his camera and photograph celestial objects!

Another time... he was spending a fair amount of time diving working on projects for folks such as National Geographic and needed a steady supply of nitrogen (I think it was...) gas mixture for cave diving. Bill and a friend, decided it would be fun to develop and build a new method of obtaining and mixing the gases.

Now these examples don't tell how good a teacher he is, but they serve to illustrate that he loves to learn and do. It is this love of learning which makes him a good teacher because he also loves to share what he learned and to impart the fun and excitement of his discovery and journey to his students.

You will learn a lot and will have a lot of fun doing it!
