About Paula
As a Mathematics tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, I have helped GCSE, A-Level, and university students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and achieve excellent academic progress. My teaching philosophy is centred around patience, clarity, and personalised learning, ensuring every student receives the support needed to succeed.
I have extensive experience teaching subjects such as algebra, calculus, statistics, mechanics, trigonometry, and higher-level mathematics. My lessons are carefully structured to simplify complex topics into understandable steps while encouraging students to think critically and apply concepts independently. I focus strongly on creating a balance between theoretical understanding and practical problem-solving practice.

My mathematics lessons are designed to help GCSE, A-Level, and university students achieve academic excellence through personalised instruction and structured learning. I teach a broad range of mathematical subjects including algebra, calculus, statistics, mechanics, trigonometry, and pure mathematics. Lessons focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps, allowing students to develop confidence and accuracy in their calculations and reasoning. Through regular practice, worked solutions, and exam-focused exercises, students strengthen both technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
