About Blair
My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for numbers, patterns, and logical structures that explain complex ideas clearly. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics followed by a Master’s Degree in Pure Mathematics. Over the past 4 years, I have helped students strengthen their mathematical understanding through patient teaching and supportive guidance. I enjoy simplifying difficult concepts into manageable explanations that help learners feel more confident during lessons. Watching students improve their reasoning skills and overcome mathematical fear continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and supportive learning instead of memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas freely.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students preparing for school coursework, university studies, and competitive examinations. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use guided examples, visual methods, and structured practice exercises to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. I also encourage learners to explain their reasoning clearly because communication strengthens mathematical understanding.
