About Harvey
I'm a 19 year old student at the University of Manchester currently in my second year studying computer science. Previously I have worked as a mentor for autistic children (12-17) at Genius Within where I worked with many people who learn and think in different ways. As an autistic person myself, I learnt differently than my peers at GCSE and A level and would like to provide an environment that is accomadating to different needs and requirements as I belive the classroom is ill suited to some children.

Lessons will be taught online using a graphics tablet and microsoft whiteboard to explain and run through ideas and tasks.
The main emphasis on my lessons is flexibility with how a pupil wishes to learn, however a typical lesson might start with either an introduction or refresher to a certain topic to make sure that the pupil has a good understanding of it.
Followed by a discussion on it in order to cemment this in the pupils mind before moving onto some guided tasks/questions in order to make sure that the pupil can apply this knowledge. Finishing with a discussion as to how the pupil feels on the topic after the lesson.
This however is up to the student to decide what format or content the lessons include.
Lesson times would range from 1-2hours.
